Brett Kime

Brett grew up in the Lynnwood area and graduated from Meadowdale Highschool (1999). Shortly after he joined the Coast Guard; completed 20 years of service and finally retired. In the Coast Guard he did many things and went to many places. He retired as a Chief Boatswain’s mate (E7) and did everything from driving ships, law enforcement, search and rescue, trainer, instructor and etc…Brett has been married to my wife Amanda for almost 20 years and have two children (Austin 19, and Adriana 17). For the past 10 years church has been an integral part of his life and he has done many things in that capacity as well such as youth ministry, teaching, greeting, leading life groups, response and etc…During his years at the church he eventually pursued a degree in Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. Brett and his wife enjoy working out (CrossFit), going to the Lake, Skiing, hiking, camping and hanging out with friends and family. Lastly, one of Brett's favorite quotes is “There is no comfort in growth and no growth in comfort”.
